Byram Hills School District Budget Vote Tuesday
Voters will have their say on the district's planned $96,939,312 spending package for 2022-23 on May 18, when the budget is on the ballot.

ARMONK, NY — Voters will have the final say on the school budget on Tuesday
The proposed budget is $96,939,312, with a 1.78 percent increase over the 2021-22 spending package.
School officials said the tax levy will increase by 1.84 percent if the budget is approved by voters later this month.

According to the district, the proposed budget will include all programs and services that have supported student success and all state and federally mandated programs. All athletic programs, all extracurricular programs and all transportation services will remain.
There are also a total of three school board seats to be filled for three-year terms. The candidates are:

- Jason Berland (incumbent)
- Melissa Jacobs (incumbent appointed in March to fill a vacancy)

The annual budget vote and board election will be from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on May 17, at Crittenden Middle School.
