Chappaqua Library: Panel discussion on the occasion of World Refugee Day

Refugee and Migratory Movements: Global Responses, Local Action Monday, June 20 7:00 pm

This event will review the causes of current mass displacement and highlight humanitarian responses to the various crises. The panel will also discuss the long-term solutions, including the need to develop policies and global responsibility sharing. Guest speakers: Chappaqua resident Bela Hovy, from the United Nations plus other speakers from the UN or civil society. Free and open to the public.
