Lombardi stars for Fox Lane

Fox Lane lost a thrilling girls basketball game at Briarcliff Dec. 13 in overtime 56-55.

Allison Lombardi starred for the Foxes, scoring 21 points, including a 3-pointer that forced overtime. For her efforts, she was honored by Rob Cristino on the LoHud Girls Basketball Blog with a "clutch award."

Lombardi's teammate Julia Raue also was sensational, pouring in a game-high 23 points.

 

Greeley boys win in hoops

Harrison Brown led with 18 points with teammate Connor Domershick adding 16 points and Josh Rosen recording eight points and seven assists in the Quakers' 65-59 triumph in boys basketball against visiting Ossining Dec. 13.

Foxes fall on ice

Fox Lane's ice hockey team lost to host ETB 8-2 Dec. 12.

Harry Woodhull and Matt Stewart scored for the Foxes.
