Legendary Fox Lane wrestling coach Joe Amuso entered the rarest of rarified air as he become the first wrestling coach in Section 1 history to win 400 matches.

Amuso recorded his 400th win in Fox Lane's 44-38 triumph against visiting Clarkstown South Dec. 20.

New Castle girls win

The New Castle Afterschock sixth grade girls squad of the Tri-County Basketball League defeated Scarsdale 24-9 Dec. 11.
