Lacrosse finals return to White Plains
If Fox Lane and Horace Greeley participate in one of the Section 1 boys championship games this school year, they won't have to travel to Rockland County.

That's because after being held at the Suffern Middle School Sports Complex in 2011, the games are returning to White Plains High School here in Westchester in the spring of '12 after a one-year hiatus.

Fox Lane wrestlers continue to roll
Fox Lane continued to show why it is the No. 1 ranked team in the MSG Varsity poll when it defeated visiting Somers 44-31 in the quarterfinals of the Section 1 Dual Meet Dec. 7 and host John Jay East-Fishkill 73-6 on Dec. 6.
The Foxes now advance to the Section 1 Dual Meet Final Four at North Rockland on Dec. 14.
Lombardi leads Foxes
Allison Lombardi paced Fox Lane with 15 points in Mount Vernon's 58-49 girls basketball triumph against the visiting Foxes on Dec. 5.
Teammates Jacqueline Colao and Julia Rave registered 11 and 10 points respectively.
