Boys soccer

Horace Greeley defeated host Scarsdale 3-0 in the Section 1 Class AA quarterfinals Nov. 2. For more information, see Kevin Kurtz's story on MSG Varsity.

Field hockey

Fox Lane fell to host Mamaroneck 6-0 in the quarterfinals of the Class A tournament Wednesday. 

Girls soccer

Fox Lane beat host Mahopac 3-2 in the opening round of the Class AA tournament Nov. 2. Catherine Belhumeur had two goals—including the game winner—and Tattie Petts had three assists for the Foxes.

Volleyball

Visiting Fox Lane defeated Yonkers 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-18) in the quarterfinals of the Class A tournament Nov. 2. Jillian McNamee led the Foxes with 22 assists and Leslie Hearns was tops in kills with eight.

Horace Greeley lost to Harrison 3-0 (25-6, 25-18, 25-20) in the quarterfinals of the Class A tournament Nov. 2. Phyllis Lai led the Quakers with six assists and Alice Zylla led Greeley with seven kills.
