Greeley schedule

Horace Greeley will have plenty of its teams participating in the postseason this weekend.

The volleyball team, which earned the No. 7 seed in the Section 1 Class A tournament, will host No. 10 Brewster today at 4:30 p.m. in a first-round game.

Also today in another first-round Class A contest, the field hockey squad will be traveling as the No. 13 seed to No. 4 Ketcham for a 3:30 p.m. start.

Greeley's boys soccer team earned the No. 13 seed and will travel to No. 4 Suffern this afternoon at 5 p.m. at Suffern Middle School in a opening-round Class AA game.

The girls diving team will be in the divisional championships today at Pace University at 4:30 p.m. The girls swimming team will participate in the conference championships at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Kisco Boys and Girls Club.

On Saturday, the cross country squad will be competing in the county championship at 9 a.m. at Croton Point Park. Also on Saturday, the girls soccer squad, which earned the No. 4 seed, will host No. 13 Suffern on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the opening round of the Section 1 Class AA tournament.

In a non-playoff game, Greeley will host Spring Valley in football on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

 

Fox Lane schedule

Fox Lane's teams will also see plenty of action this weekend in the postseason.

The volleyball squad is the No. 6 seed and will host No. 11 Beacon at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon in the opening round of the Class A tournament.

The Foxes field hockey squad is the No. 9 seed and will be traveling to No. 8 Yorktown today at 2:30 p.m. in the opening round of the Class A tournament. 

On Saturday, Fox Lane's girls swimming team will be joining Greeley at the Mount Kisco Boys and Girls Club. Also on Saturday, the Foxes No. 9 girls soccer team will travel to No. 8 Mahopac in a opening-round Class AA contest at 2 p.m.

In a non-playoff matchup, Fox Lane's football squad will host Lincoln tonight at 7 p.m. 

 

Tennis

The United States Tennis Association will have its 25th Annual College Showcase Day at the Saw Mill Cub in Mount Kisco on Sunday, Oct. 30.

Activities:

10:30-11:30 a.m. — High school juniors on court; seniors at panel discussion. 11:45 am–12:45 pm — Juniors at panel discussion; seniors on court until 2 p.m. 2:15-5 p.m. — Networking lunch and college showcase for seniors.
