The community voted on candidates and propositions. Here is what you need to know.

CHAPPAQUA, NY — Residents had a chance to go to the polls Tuesday to vote for Westchester county legislators and local officials. Here are unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections.

Westchester County legislator District 2 - Kitley S Covill outpaced Francis T Corcoran, Jr, by 10 percentage points.

Westchester County legislator District 3 - Margaret A. Cunzio also outpaced opponent Daren B Tolz by 10 percentage points.

Westchester County legislator District 4- Michael B Kaplowitz ran unopposed.

Mount Kisco

Mount Kisco Mayor 0 J Michael Cindrich looks to have been unseated by Gina Marie Picinich, who pulled 52 percent of the vote.

Mount Kisco Trustee (2) - Isidoro Albanese and Peter Grunthal took the seats with 34 percent of the vote to 32 percent for Anthony C Markus.

Mount Kisco Town Justice - John J Donohue was unopposed.

Mount Kisco Library Trustee (2) - unopposed

  • Melissa Leyva, Open Book Party
  • William F B O'Reilly, Open Book Party

Mount Kisco Proposition 1 - The $10.25M firehouse work bond was overwhelmingly approved.

New Castle

New Castle Supervisor - Robert J Greenstein held onto his position with 53 percent of the vote over Kristen P Browde.

New Castle town council (2) - the unofficial results show a very close race, with one challenger and one incumbent winning:

  • Adam M Brodsky , R, I - 2, 711
  • Gail E Markels , D, WEP, WF - 2,616
  • Ivy A Pool , D, WEP, WF - 2,814
  • Lisa S Katz , R, I - 2,743

New Castle Town Justice- Noah D Sorkin was unopposed.

Ossining Town officials ran unopposed.
