Chappaqua Names Downtown Business Development Committee

The 12-member committee was announced Nov. 10.

As New Castle residents and officials struggle with Chappaqua Crossing (10 years in), forge ahead with a new Master Plan to replace the one done 25 years ago, stumble over development of an eatery at the train station, and work on revitalization of downtown, town officials have established a Downtown Business Development Committee.

Its members were named at the Town Council’s Nov. 10 meeting:

  • Chair—Council Member Adam Brodsky
  • Phil Luria
  • Joan Simon
  • Corey Shanus
  • Erik Nicolaysen
  • David Perlmutter
  • Barry Mishkin
  • Jeffrey Blockinger
  • Phil Altman
  • Solveig McShea
  • Randy Katchis
  • Lee Anchin

Here’s the text of the announcement from New Castle Town Supervisor Rob Greenstein:
