The portion of the former Victoria's Secret site in downtown Mount Kisco that has remained vacant will soon be home to a new salad eatery.
The restaurant, called Chop't, has a building permit displayed at the entrance of the building along South Moger Avenue. The door and windows are now covered with brown paper.
The building permit, which was issued July 9, is for demolishing the former interior and building a new one.
The site, located at 53 S. Moger Ave., had been vacant since Victoria's Secret left in 2011, in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Irene. The property was then subdivided and the back section, which faces the Shopper's Park parking lot, was filled last year by a Fidelity Investments branch.
