Construction on I-684 near the Hutch Next Week

Starting Tuesday and going through Friday, the right and center lanes will be closed in the daytime on the northbound side of Interstate 684, between the Hutchinson River Parkway and the Exit 1 (Interstate 287) entrance ramp, so crews can perform maintenance activities.

Closures are expected to occur from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.(weather permitting) and delays may occur.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all flaggers, workers and traffic control devices.

Remember that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
