Construction at Route 133 / Saw Mill Parkway Intersection Thursday

The Route 133 westbound on-ramp to the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway is expected to close July 9, so crews can perform emergency maintenance activities.

The closure is expected to occur from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting; so plan for detours and expect delays.

Flaggers will direct traffic.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all workers and traffic control devices.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
