Corcoran Takes Legislative Board Seat Early

A new county legislator for District 2 was sworn in Monday in White Plains.

Francis Corcoran took office early because he was elected to fill an open seat, and the county charter mandated that he be sworn in immediately.

Corcoran will represent Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Pound Ridge and part of Somers.

He grew up in Lewisboro and has served for the last 13 years as a town councilman in Bedford. Corcoran has worked in the financial and capital markets for 30 years.
