Cosentino Opens in Mount Kisco

Cosentino, which is a surfacing materials company, celebrated its arrival in Mount Kisco on Thursday with a packed grand opening.

The 25,300-square-foot distribution center is located at The Park (333 N. Bedford Road), a complex whose array of tenants include Grand Prix New York and Saw Mill Club East. It includes a showroom for its stone surfacing products, a warehouse and distribution space.

James Amendola, who is general manager for the center, said they will be distributing natural stone and quartz products from the center to fabricators in the tri-state area. Cosentino has surfacing products under an array of brands, the company notes in its announcement for the center, including Silestone Natural Quartz, ECO (made from recycled materials) and SenSa granite. Cosentino, which supplies raw materials, make surfacing that it used in places such as kitchens and baths.

The company is family owned and is based in Spain. Its U.S. headquarters is in Houston and the Mount Kisco center is one of several in the country. Upcoming American centers will be in the Philadelphia and Seattle areas. 

The Mount Kisco center, which is known as  is part of an expansion in the U.S., the company notes.

"The new Center will create jobs and allow architects and designers from the Tri-State area to regionally source their favorite surfacing products, increasing availability and reducing lead time both residential and commercial projects."
