Ciero in Classic: Daily Sports Digest June 15

Football

Horace Greeley's Justin Ciero was a member of the Downstate squad that competed in the Upstate-Downstate Football Classic, which was played Sunday in the Carrier Dome at Syracuse University, won by Downstate 27-23, according to Josh Thomson's post on the LoHud Varsity Insider.

Youth Sports

The below, referring to its majors and seniors division championship playoffs, appeared on the New Castle Baseball and Softball Association website:

Time & Location: Saturday, June 16 starting at 3:30 PM at the Town Rec Field.

**7th grade at 3:30, 5th grade at 6 PM, and the 6th grade at 8 PM under the lights**

We'll have complimentary food and drinks, music and festivities, and of course great baseball!
