DWI, Domestic Disputes, Laptop Stolen: Mount Kisco Police Blotter

Westchester County Police recount some of the recent incidents to which they responded.

Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County Police responded recently in Mount Kisco.

Friday, July 22 – 2:46 p.m. – Westchester County Police assisted a West Street resident who locked herself out of her home to get back inside the residence.

1:54 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Gregory Street on a report that a tenant who was being evicted from an apartment had returned to the property after agreeing not to do so. The tenant voluntarily left the property after officers arrived to speak with the landlord.

Thursday, July 21 – 11:49 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a residence on Maple Avenue on a report of a domestic dispute. A man at the home reported that his ex-girlfriend began throwing various items at him during an argument. The man did not wish to press charges and the woman was escorted from the residence.

8:30 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a business in the 200 block of North Bedford Road due to an activated burglar alarm. It was determined that an employee of the business activated the alarm in error.

Wednesday, July 20 – 5:40 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a residence on Gregory Avenue on a report of a domestic dispute. Two women at the home were in a loud verbal argument but no physical contact had occurred. One of the women agreed to leave the residence to calm the situation.

3:33 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a vacant home on Laurel Drive on a report that three men were seen inside. It was determined that the men were contractors who had been hired to do work on the home.

Monday, July 18 – 10:33 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the Caremount Medical offices on South Bedford Road on a report that a man was having difficulty breathing. The man was subsequently taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Sunday, July 17 – 9:06 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Stop &Shop on North Bedford Road on a report that an intoxicated customer was causing a disturbance. The man left the store when employees telephoned police and was gone upon an officer’s arrival.

4:37 p.m. – An employee of a business in the 300 block of Main Street reported that someone broke in by removing a window air conditioner and stole a laptop computer valued at $450 sometime in the previous two days. The burglary is being investigated by detectives from the General Investigations Unit.

Friday, July 15 – 12 p.m. – David Tonkin, 50, of Grissom Drive, Bronxville was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor, following a traffic stop on Kisco Avenue. He is due to appear in Mount Kisco Justice Court on July 28.
