Eduardo's Revamps, Tweaks Name
Changes include remodeled back interior, adding piano bar and a slight name change.
If you have stopped by Eduardo's in Mount Kisco recently, you may have noticed a change in scenery.
That's because the longtime restaurant, a fixture in the village for about 44 years, recently underwent an extensive remodeling in its back interior. The result includes a more open space - a wall was partially removed - new colors and upholstery. Noteable among the changes is the addition of a piano bar, with a piano attached to a stand with a counter that was painted to mimic keys.
“It's one, big party room now," said owner Eddie Lubic, who is enthusiastic about the changes, which were done around the holiday season.

The eatery even has a slight name change to reflect the overhaul: it's officially now called Eduardo's Restaurant & Piano Bar, and it even comes with a brand-new tapas menu.
For Lubic, the changes are a matter of adapting.

“You got to change with the times," he said.
Walls are adorned with paintings or murals, one of which includes Lubic and his family. A mural that is located in a hallway between the remodeled back and the front dining space is slated to include likenesses of customers, which Lubic says will be "a hall of fame.”
Lubic's wife, Ann-Margaret Wagner, worked on the interior decorated and described it as contemporary, and wants an experience that is unique.
The piano bar addition has also coincided with several live music acts, including an opera singer, a tango night and an Elvis impersonator who is slated to appear in a few weeks. Performances are usually scheduled for Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays.
The past year has been busy for Lubic, who has owned Eduardo's for 30 years; his father, Eduardo Lubic, Sr., founded it. Last year, he and Wagner launched a revamped Muscoot Tavern in Somers, which is located off of Route 100. Lubic, who lives in Amawalk, said business at Muscoot has been good, saying “that's a busy place.”
Eduardo's is located at 77 S. Moger Ave., in downtown Mount Kisco, Its website is eduardosmtkisco.com and its phone number is 914-666-7005.
