Enter the Apple Pie Contest at the Oct. 25 Fall Fair in Chappaqua
Not just from scratch, the pie must be made from local apples.

As part of their response to residents who asked for more community happenings, New Castle town officials are hosting a Fall Festival in downtown Chappaqua this weekend. Kiwi Country Day Camp is a co-sponsor and Chappaqua Girl Scout Troop 2319 will help with face painting and other activities.
The event will run 11AM-4PM Oct. 25 rain or shine.
Town officials describe it as a celebration of community showcasing local merchants and fun family activities.

Local specialty boutique stores will offer an array of promotions, as well as showcase new fall products.
There will be lots of activities for families including a hay ride, petting zoo, face and pumpkin painting, and much much more. Music and refreshments, too.
Here’s the skinny on the Apple Pie Contest: your pie must be made with local apples and your crust must be made from scratch (no 50/50 pies - frozen crust with homemade filling).
