The famed Iditarod Race begins this weekend in Alaska. We won’t be traveling over 1,100 miles, but we will brave the elements of late winter snow, slush, or mud – whatever NY’s weather throws at us! We’ll trek over 2 miles across the preserve’s trail system in search of unique winter beauty. Please dress appropriately for the weather and trail conditions (snowshoes may be necessary – no dogs or sleds allowed!).
