“When the cat’s away, the mice will play!” But, you don’t have to be a mouse to enjoy “Mayhem at Merestead!” a rhyming scavenger hunt for children ages 7 through 10.
Even though the help may be away, kids will find that this early-1900s mansion house is actually filled with “people” who are portrayed in the various works of art in the house collection. Children will be presented with clues in poetry format and they must scour the house and garden to find the respective items on the list. Once accomplished, they’ll be rewarded with a musical program of songs geared just for them by world famous pianist Michael Boriskin of Copland House.
