Flash Flood Watch June 1-2 for Lower Hudson Valley
Poor drainage areas and locations hit by Sunday's thunderstorms are most vulnerable.

The National Weather Service issued two statements early Monday morning for Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties:
Periods of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are predicted to continue through Tuesday.
Rainfall rates could be as high as 2-3 inches per hour in some areas. And that could cause flash flooding, specially in urban and poor drainage areas, and specially in locations that received heavy rain from Sunday’s thunderstorms.
