Trawick has memorable performance

To have a game that stands out above the rest is an incredible thing.

It's even more incredible when it comes against your crosstown rival.

That was the case for Fox Lane star boys basketball player Will Trawick.

Trawick was all over the basket and the boards when the Foxes played at Jan. 6 and won 74-64.

Trawick had his dream game by scoring a game-high 37 points while grabbing 16 rebounds.

It's a performance like that shows why he will be playing at Emory University, a Division III powerhouse, next season.

Greeley's Harrison Brown had a strong game with 22 points and seven rebounds.

Foxes win on ice

It was a thriller for Fox Lane and its fans as it defeated visiting Somers/North Salem 2-1 in overtime in ice hockey on Jan.6.

Zimmerman stands out

One would be hard pressed to find someone who supports the hometown team more than Pete Zimmerman.

Zimmerman, who has lived in New Castle for 50 years, has been running EZ sports for 20 years and is a huge booster of Greeley sports.
