Fox Lane Youth Football Clinic is Sept. 12
Event will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fox Lane High School.

A youth football clinic, hosted by Fox Lane players and coaches, will be held at Fox Lane High School in Bedford on Sunday, Sept. 12 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
the Foxes' varsity football team, coming off a 6-2 season, is scheduled to start its season with a 6:30 p.m. game the day before against Carmel at Fox Lane Memorial Stadium.
The clinic is for players in Grades 1-6. Registration will be held on site, which is the stadium's turf field.

Individual skills for all positions will be included in the clinic, including throwing, catching, running, blocking, and stance and starts.
Players should wear shorts, T-shirts, sneakers or football cleats, but should not wear metal cleats.

The cost is $25 or a maximum of $40 per family. Checks should be made payable to Fox Lane Football.

In addition to the clinic, Fox Lane's Football Boosters are also raffling four tickets to the Yankees-Tampa Bay baseball game on Sept. 20. The drawing will be held on Sept. 16.
There will also be other raffles during the season, including for tickets to Mary Poppins on Broadway.

The Fox Lane football team will get warmed up for the start of the regular season on Sept. 4 when it hosts a scrimmage against Dover Plains, a team once guided by current Fox Lane varsity coach Bill Broggy.
The scrimmage is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Fox Lane Memorial Stadium. Before the scrimmage, varsity players will be a part of their annual Picture Day.
The festivities will include taking a yearbook team photo as well as individual head shots, captains' photos and senior group shots. Parents are also welcome to take photos of their own.
After the scrimmage, a cookout involving both teams will be held at 11:30 a.m.
