Fox Lane coasted to victory Sunday in its ice hockey game against Horace Greeley, a game in which the Foxes were able to keep the Quakers on the defensive.
It was the Foxes' second-straight win, coming off the heels of a 4-1 victory over Briarcliff just two days before.
"My kids did a great job the other night working hard and we really need to come out and work hard again today," said Foxes Head Coach Charles Berger. "I'd like to play full-game, all three periods, play as hard as we can, play Fox Lane hockey and shoot the puck, and if we can do that I think we'll be successful."

The Foxes showed up with an offensive push during the game, bringing the puck to the Quakers' end often with 42 shots on goal. In contrast, the Quakers had difficulty bringing the puck over, with just 15 shots on goal. Quakers Goalie Brad Feldman was able to slow the Foxes with 38 saves, but his counterparts, Cody Williams and Conor Bunyan, had a combined total of 14 while taking a lighter offensive burden from the other team
While both teams were scoreless in the first period, the Foxes really made their presence known with three goals in the second. The first was scored by Conor Morris and the second by Joe Corsi shortly after. The third goal was by Matt Swanko with the period coming to a close. Blaze Vogliano provided the fourth and final goal for the Foxes in the third period.

The Quakers's only goal for the game came from Sam Spar late in the third amid an improvement in momentum. Yet it was not enough to keep them competitive, and the Foxes won the game, 4-1.
In an interview after the game, Quakers Head Coach Zachary Dargaty said that puck possession has been a problem for his team.
"We've just really struggled to score," he said. "I think a lot of it is just our puck possession. We're not always very confident with the puck, where to go with it or what we should be doing with it."
Dargaty also said that it means a lot of turnovers.
After the game Berger said that the first line played well together. When asked if the game represented building off of the Briarcliff win, he said that every game is its own entity.
