We thank the Horace Greeley boys tennis supporter for the below submission and wish the team good luck in the postseason:

The Horace Greeley boys varsity tennis team went undefeated last year, with many nationally ranked players leading the team and making it to the sectionals and states.

This year, the team continued to be strong with Jay Glickman, a senior (top 150 in the country, top 20 in the east), Neal Port, a junior, and Rex Glickman, a sophomore, both top ranked Eastern Section players as well.

Jason MulhollandNoah Bressman, Doug Gursha and Justin Grossman all returned as seniors, as well as the addition of some new great players including freshman, Jeremy Wei.

As the league season closes at an impressive 4-1 record, this week the Quakers will begin the conference tournament, followed by sectionals and potentially moving on to the state championships. Jay and Rex Glickman opted this year to combine their talents, playing doubles for the first time together as a sibling team.

Neal Port, Jeremy Wei, and Noah Bressman will represent the team in singles, and Jason Mulholland and Justin Grossman will continue with their successful recipe for exciting doubles as well. Doug Gursha/Harry Hall are ready for action, along with Ilan Small/Gavin Abrams rounding out a strong line-up for the conference tournament.

We wish them all good luck, and hope to see you all out there cheering them on this week.
