Greeley Hockey Beats Hen Hud, Advances in Playoffs
The following is from Greeley hockey parent Bruce Yablon.

Led by four goals from Horace Greeley's freshman unit, the Quakers defeated the Hendrick Hudson Sailors 5-3 at Brewster on Monday night in the first round of the Section 1 hockey playoffs. Greeley scored the first two goals and kept the lead throughout the game. Each time Greeley went up by two, Hen Hud would score and keep the pressure on Greeley. Hen Hud was within one for the last 8 minutes of the 3rd period before Greg Krisberg scored on a empty netter for his 2nd goal of the game. Sam Mishkind, Scott Jakubowicz and Captain Sam Spar rounded out the goal scoring.
Greeley's preseason goal of going deep in the playoffs will be put to the test as they face the Section 1 favorite and NY State 5th ranked team the Pelham Pelicans at the Ice Hutch on Wednesday Feb 22 at 6:00 pm.
