Have Fun and Support the YMCA: 2 Events this Spring
Get outside for a 5K/fun walk at Camp Combe and have dinner at Crabtree's Kittle House. It's all for a good community cause.

The YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester is holding two events that will be totally different but equally fun this spring. These are fundraisers for the financial aid assistance fund so that everyone has the opportunity to access the Y camps, programs, memberships and services.
April 29 is the first annual Camp Combe 5K, taking place on the YMCA’s 100-acre property in Putnam Valley.
Now you tell me how this doesn't sound like fun, whether you're running or just walking the course:

Starting at 10 a.m. participants will travel across the bridge, past mini camp, through the Berkshires huddle site, up to zip line, across to giant swing, through Andes huddle site, behind archery, down the boardwalk, past the pool, around the water slide, across the 9 square court, past the lodge, cross the giant field… AND do it all again to pass the finish line! Everyone will receive water along the course.
Registrants are encouraged to invite friends, form teams, race as a family (including the family dog - on leash of course!), wear matching outfits, and have fun. Kids ages 8-16 can register free. Find out how.
Every dollar raised goes to provide financial assistance so that children, families and individuals can be a part of the Y regardless of income level. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

Next, May 16 is an opportunity to go have dinner at a fabulous restaurant and help the Y at the same time.
Here's how it works:
Dine anytime between 6 and 9 p.m. at Crabtree's Kittle House, 11 Kittle Road in Chappaqua. When you call and make your reservation, at 914-666-8044, mention Sparkle for a Cause.
The Y receives 30% of the event proceeds.
The party is outside (inside if rain) in Amy's Garden and the event is sponsored by The Amy Marie Crabtree Foundation. Live music too!
