Hearing on Modells at Tonight's Mt Kisco Planning Board

The retailer's plan for the former Borders site would be its second store in Westchester.

A public hearing on the plan to put a Modells Sporting Goods store on the former Borders site tops tonight’s agenda of the Mount Kisco Planning Board.

The East Main Street site would be the second in Westchester County for the Manhattan-based retailer. Its nearest locations now are in Mohegan Lake at the Cortlandt Town Center and in West Nyack at the Palisades Center.

The site was bought earlier this summer by Lerner Properties and the Modell family, according to the Daily Voice.
