Heist At Jeweler's In Mount Kisco

Gold, diamonds and rubies

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Westchester County police were called to a jewelry business on South Moger Avenue Dec. 4. An employee reported that a man and woman who posed as customers stole two bracelets studded with diamonds and rubies, a gold pendant with a diamond and a gold chain while she was wrapping another item they said they wanted to purchase.

The items were valued at $7,300. The case was turned over to detectives.

Friday, Dec. 8 – 5:28 p.m. – Child Protective Services requested that a Westchester County police officer
accompany a staff member to a Grove Street residence and be present during an interview being
conducted there.
4:01 p.m. – A woman watching a kickball game at the Boys & Girls Club on East Main Street was struck in the face by the ball, causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head. The woman was transported to
Northern Westchester Hospital Center for medical attention.
Thursday, Dec. 7 -- 6:21 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a building on Carpenter Avenue
on a report that a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding there. The Mount Kisco Fire Department also
responded and determined conditions were safe.
Wednesday, Dec. 6 – 6:59 p.m. – A village resident reported that another man shoved him into a Stop
sign as he walked on Highland Avenue, causing pain to his chest and shoulder. The victim, who knows
the man he says injured him, did not initially want to press charges but now would like to do so. The
case was turned over to detectives for additional investigation.
Tuesday, Dec. 5 – 8:35 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a residence on Amuso Drive
after a man fell and was injured. The man was subsequently taken by ambulance to Northern
Westchester Hospital Center.
