Baseball Season Ends for Foxes: Daily Sports Digest May 30

After host No. 4 Fox Lane put up five runs in the bottom of the third, No. 9 Arlington rallied for an 8-5 victory in the Section 1 Class AA semifinals on Tuesday afternoon.

Arlington would tie the game in the fourth and add two more runs in the fifth to take the lead.

Fox Lane's Matt Oniffrey was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI for the Foxes with teammate Richard Slenker producing a double, with two RBI and a run.

Girls Lax

Section 1 Class B champion Fox Lane begins regional play tonight at 7:30 p.m. against Section 9 champ Saugerties at Dietz Stadium in Kingston according to Gina Pernicano's post on the LoHud Girls Lacrosse Blog.

Championship Lax

White Plains High School will host the Section 1 boys lacrosse championships today.

Class C  3 p.m. No. 1 Bronxville (18-1) vs. No. 11 Hendrick Hudson (10-9)

Class A  5:30 p.m. No. 4 Mahopac (11-7) vs. No. 10 Mamaroneck (9-10)

Class B  8 p.m. No. 1 Yorktown (14-4) vs. No. 2 John Jay (12-6)
