The Journal News reports that several Mount Kisco businesses will donate money for relief efforts in Haiti in the amount of 10 percent of their profits.
The effort will take place on Jan. 29, and participating businesses will feature signs on display to show their participation.
According to Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce President Janet Deane, the chamber is going to put together a list of businesses involved, who will then turn over the proceeds to the AmeriCares Foundation, which is based nearby in Stamford, CT.
