MOUNT KISCO CHILD CARE CENTER ANNOUNCES SPRING CHALLENGE

Mt Kisco, NY - (May 29, 2013) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) announces its Spring Challenge, beginning May 12 and continuing through June 17 to benefit The Children’s Fund. This year’s theme is “Honor Your Parents” and donors are invited to include a written tribute with their donation honoring a parent or other significant caregiver in their lives. As such, the Challenge will run from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day in 2013. Families, current donors, and members of the community are invited to contribute to the Center.

To date, the first $15,000 received by the Center will be matched by a MKCCC former Board Member and friends. The Center's goal is to raise more than $50,000 as was raised by the Challenge last year.

The Challenge will benefit the Center's Jane H. Beusman Children’s Fund. The fund honors the late Jane H. Beusman who was dedicated to children and families in Westchester for over 40 years. Donations will only be used to benefit children who need scholarship support to attend MKCCC. The cornerstone of MKCCC’s mission is to provide affordable care to all children. 90 children received scholarship assistance in 2012 and more than half of MKCCC families need some form of tuition assistance. Children are able to participate in the Center's award-winning programming, while allowing parents to find employment and feel confident their children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

Contributions to the Center can be made in person, by visiting www.mkccc.org or by sending a check to MKCCC at 95 Radio Circle, Mt Kisco NY 10549.
