Mount Kisco Father Halts Burglary in Progress: News Report

The man heard noise, found two men, captured one, according to The Journal News.

A burglary in Mount Kisco was interrupted in progress—by the householder—who held onto one of two men he found, The Journal News reported.

The residents credited the family dog for raising the alarm the evening of Oct. 22 that caused the man to leave his wife and daughter and go downstairs.

Mount Kisco police told TJN Reporter Michael Risinit that Savino Avila-Jacinto of Bedford Hills was released on $2,000 bail after being charged with second-degree burglary, a felony. They are looking for the second suspect.
