McGarrah Wins Competitive ADDY Award

Susquehanna University graphic design students won 22 out of 33 awards presented at the Greater Frederick Advertising Federation Student ADDY Awards held on Feb. 23 at the Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery in Thurmont, Md. The annual ADDY competition recognizes creative excellence in advertising by both students and professionals.

Erin McGarrah, of Mount Kisco, N.Y., was awarded a Student Silver Award for a piece titled A Period of Adjustment Theater Poster. A 2012 graduate of Fox Ln High School, she is the daughter of Bob and Stephanie McGarrah.

Entries are evaluated by a panel of nationally recognized advertising design professionals. This is the 14th year in a row that Susquehanna graphic design students have participated in the ADDY competition and come away winners.
