MOUNT KISCO, NY — It’s not going to match last weekend's amazing weather, which featured 50 plus degree temperatures, but the forecast is still a pretty good one for the last weekend in January in the Hudson Valley.
If we get through Friday without flurries, we should see no snow or rain this weekend, just colder temps: in the mid- to upper-30s on both Saturday and Sunday.
"The first of many cold fronts swung through the region yesterday afternoon," said Alex Marra of Hudson Valley Weather.

The weekend should be sunny, he said, but "As usual we will need to watch for a few rogue snow squalls and stretched-out feeder bands that may bring snow across our northern counties and the Catskills. Remember these squalls can be localized, and quickly cover over roadways."

At midweek, an Albert Clipper out of midwest Canada could bring snow to the Hudson Valley, meteorologists predict, from a dusting to a few inches of accumulation.
The National Weather Service offered this weekend forecast for northern Westchester County:
Today
Mostly cloudy with scattered sprinkles or flurries. Highs in the mid 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Tonight
Mostly cloudy in the evening...then becoming partly cloudy. Lows around 30. West winds 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday
Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday
Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night
Partly cloudy in the evening...then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 20s.
