MTK Tavern in Mount Kisco Announces New Chef de Cuisine (Vincenzo De Raco)

MTK Tavern (in Mount Kisco) proudly announces the appointment of Vincenzo (Enzo) De Raco to the position of Chef de Cuisine for the neighborhood favorite restaurant. Chef De Raco brings an exciting, eclectic new style of dining to the Westchester area known as Ameriterrasian. De Raco creates a range of plates combining American, Mediterranean and Asian tastes all in one remarkable place.

At MTK Tavern, De Raco whips up delicious, unique & creative dishes including: spicy salmon on chicharron with wasabi tobiko, green goddess deviled eggs with crispy pork belly and spicy pickled shallots, Casamigos tequila & tabasco glazed wings with blue cheese yogurt, Fidencio mezcal basted pork ribs with nori infused kimchi, and of course the burger! A special blend of sirloin, brisket & chuck topped with house rolled porchetta and smoked gouda served on an English Muffin.

Through past culinary and global experience, De Raco is able to add the perfect flavor and zest to all of MTK Tavern’s dishes. De Raco has mastered extensive cooking techniques including knife skills, dry and moist-heat cooking methods, sauce making, restaurant simulations and pastry baking. In addition, De Raco has perfected the art of mixing flavors from countries such as Thailand, India, Japan, Italy and Spain.

Prior to MTK Tavern, De Raco served as a line and grill cook at Xavier’s X20 on the Hudson. De Raco’s passion for fine food and cooking led him to his dream in becoming a chef.

De Raco graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education (I.C.E.) and currently resides in Yorktown Heights.
