New Castle 9/11 Ceremony will Focus on First Responders

The Town of New Castle holds a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sept. 11, at Gedney Park on Route 133 in Millwood.

"Our 9/11 Memorial Service will be held this year on Sunday September 11 at 2 pm at Gedney Park," town Supervisor Rob Greenstein said in the email newsletter. "I hope you will join us as the Town of New Castle marks the 15th anniversary of this solemn event. This year’s program will be paying particular tribute to our first responders – those in uniform and those selfless citizens who ran towards danger to help in the face of this unspeakable tragedy."
