New Castle Budget Forum Tuesday AM

League of Women Voters of New Castle hosts a forum at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 on the New Castle town budget proposed for 2016.

Town Comptroller Robert Deary will provide an overview of the budget process and discuss the revenue and expense factors that have influenced the decision-making. Town Administrator Jill Shapiro will be there to answer questions, so questions from the audience are welcome!

The public hearing on the budget will take place Nov. 24.

Copies of the proposed budget are available upon request at Town Hall or online at www.mynewcastle.org. The Town Board is scheduled to vote on the budget at its Dec. 8 meeting.
