NEXTBARRE CELEBRATES MOTHER/DAUGHTER BOND WITH NEW TEEN BARRE CLASS
NextBarre Introduces New TEEN class for moms and daughters
Mother/daughter time has long been celebrated with activities as shopping and lunch and mani/pedis. But, what better way to spend time together than getting in shape.
NextBarre, the revolutionary barre class that opened its first East Coast studio in Mt. Kisco in January, is introducing a new class for moms and their teen daughters on Saturdays at 11 am. The 45-minute class merges simple exercises with challenging movements for core conditioning. Incorporating aspects of yoga, Pilates and ballet, this class is challenging and safe for all injuries.
“We are really excited to introduce this class to our schedule as it is a great way for teen girls to become more aware of their bodies, correct posture and how to exercise properly,” stated Heather Queiroz, Co-Owner of NextBarre Mt. Kisco and also a Master Instructor. “It’s also a great way for mothers and daughters – particularly those who are home from college for the summer – to spend time together as well as with their own friends.”

In addition to the core NextBarre class, the Mt. Kisco studio offers NextBarreBasics, a one hour class that is ideal for beginners and NextBarreCardio, a 55-minute class incorporating NextBarre moves with fast-paced cardio sets to raise heart rate and maximize calorie burn — all while sculpting and lengthening muscles. All classes incorporate use of light weights and resistance bands.

NextBarre is also introducing a new NextBarre Gratitude class. This 70-minute class which combines meditation and yoga practices with NextBarre elements, will initially be offered on the first Sunday of the month at 11 am.
NextBarre was created in California by Diana Pecci and has quickly gained momentum as one of the hottest and most effective fitness routines available. Having suffered a spinal injury, Pecci learned how to rehabilitate herself and was inspired to share what she learned. That led to creating a system to move the body safely while improving posture, strength and body mechanics in addition to getting a challenging workout to stay fit.
The Mt. Kisco location is co-owned by NextBarre Founder Diana Pecci and Mt. Kisco resident Heather Queiroz. Queiroz was inspired to bring NextBarre to the area after taking classes in California and experiencing changes in her body that she had not found with any other workout.
NextBarre Mt. Kisco is located at 293 Lexington Ave (between Elm and Moore Avenues) in Mt. Kisco; 914.210.0587. Classes are offered daily and the first class is always free. There are several packages available including an unlimited monthly package for new clients at $99
