Friends of the Chappaqua Library are playing in the stacks - an evening of original 10-minute comedies

You’re invited to an evening of merriment on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30pm in the Chappaqua Library Theater (195 South Greeley Avenue) as the Friends of the Chappaqua Library present THE DEWEY DECIMAL FESTIVAL, an evening of original ten-minute comedies.
We’ve chosen the best of more than a hundred short comedies about books and libraries, submitted by playwrights from around the world. For one night only, we bring them to you live, performed as staged readings, by a team of talented thespians gifted in the theatrical arts.

Proceeds to benefit the Friends of the Chappaqua Library, the group that supports dozens of adult, teen and children’s library programs you love, like Nursery Rhyme Time, Big Truck Day, the Foreign Policy Discussion group, careers workshops, the Teens Slouching Around on Comfy Chairs Kind of Doing Homework, and many, many more. The Friends also fund special projects like the Shakespeare Garden and the Butterfly Courtyard, and special acquisitions not covered by the library’s budget.
