Photos: Mt. Kisco's Downtown Gets Yellow Flags
Flags are an effort to beautify the business district.
Notice anything unusual on Main or South Moger? Since last week, a series of yellow flags have been flying in downtown Mount Kisco, which were installed in phases.
The flags were the idea of Cathy Deutsch, the owner of Tiger Lily, who suggested it as a way to decorate the downtown. She was pleased with the installation.
"We're delighted with the appearance of the yellow flags throughout town," she wrote to Patch. "Mt Kisco looks festive and proud!! Thanks to the Mayor and the village for their support, all the  merchants who participated and the chamber for their generous contribution. It certainly does "take a village" and we are excited to be a part of this first "dressing up" of the commercial district."
