From the New Castle Police Department
On August 8th a burglary was reported on Tall Timber Road in the Town of New Castle. The burglary occurred between approximately noon and 2:30 PM. The home was not occupied at the time. Entry was made through a window that was forced open. Jewelry was stolen.

New Castle residents are reminded to secure their homes and if available activate burglar alarms. Be watchful and report any suspicious activity to the New Castle Police at 238-4422 or 911 in an emergency. Anyone with information that may help with the burglary investigation is asked to call the New Castle Detective Division at 238-1566.
