CHAPPAQUA, NY - Residents concerned about the Algonquin Pipeline project past Indian Point plan to hold a vigil Monday in presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's hometown.
"Downtown Chappaqua is 11 miles away from the leaking Indian Point nuclear power plant. The Clinton’s [sic] home is just 12 miles from a potential blast. Evacuation is impossible from this location. There is no plan in place outside of the 10 mile radius," said Susan Rubin one of the vigil organizers, in a press release.

Dear Mrs. Clinton:

• Where do you stand on the continued operation of Indian Point?
• Are you okay with the combo of an aging nuclear power plant so close to a potentially explosive pipeline?
Clinton's opponent, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, has called for the closure of Indian Point.
WHEN: Monday April 11 7pm-8:30pm
WHERE: Downtown Chappaqua NY. South Greeley Avenue, across the street from Greeley Hardware Store
