Quakers Beat Foxes On The Road, 62-51

Greeley goes to Fox Lane's home court and escapes with a victory.

Horace Greeley prevailed 62-51 over longtime rival Fox Lane in yesterday's boys' basketball game at Fox Lane.

The Quakers won the tip and two minutes were off the clock before any points were scored.  The Quakers put 10 points on the board quickly and the Foxes were forced to take two timeouts in the first four minutes. Fox Lane was able to compose itself and only trailed 12-11 after the first quarter.

It was a two-point game for most of the second quarter, which was capped by Adam Honig's 3-pointer, giving Fox Lane a 31-29 lead.
