Quick Trip: Fall into Fall at Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center

Farm Stand Open– Fridays, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

U-Pick Vegetables at Hilltop Hanover Farm– Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Come visit Westchester’s only U-Pick vegetable operation, and harvest veggies straight from the field. Check website for available produce.

Couples Cooking – Friday, September 19, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., in Barn F.

You and your partner will learn how to cook several healthy and delicious restaurant-quality recipes from scratch with Chef Maria Reina of Bella Cucina. Fee $95 per couple; online registration only.

Insider’s Private Tour –Saturdays, September 20 & 27, 11 a.m. – noon.

Visit the farm with farm educational director Carol Lake and visit with the cows and learn about the farm and educational center from an insider’s perspective. Registration is required; fee $10 per adult, children are free. Groups register separately for an additional fee.

Spin & Knit – Saturday, September 20, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., in Building A.

Learn everything you need to know to start making your own cheese from scratch. Registration is required; fee $20 per person, $5 for children ages 8-12.

Preparing your Garden for Winter – Saturday, September 27, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., in Barn F.

Learn how to best prepare your garden for winter so that you’re all ready for spring. Registration is required; fee $20 per person, $5 for children ages 8-12.
