Remember: Overnight Parking Prohibition Started Nov. 1 in Chappaqua

Here’s the text of the Police Department’s alert:

In order to facilitate snow removal in New Castle, there is a Seasonal Parking Ordinance which reads “No vehicle shall be parked, stored or left standing unattended by a person capable of operating it on any street or highway at any time between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. during the period between the first day of November and the first day of April. The provisions of this section shall not apply to the parking of an ambulance nor to a vehicle operated by a physician or surgeon on a professional call.”

This ordinance is enforced by the New Castle Police Department.
