Chappaqua School District Budget Passes
This year, residents voted by absentee ballot due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
NEW CASTLE, NY — Residents in the Chappaqua school district voted to approve the $128.2 million school budget for 2020-21. The ballot opening and tally was held Tuesday at the Horace Greeley High School Gymnasium.
School Budget Resolution:
- Yes : 2,664
- No: 879

There were five people running for two open seats on the Board of Education. The incumbents both won re-election:
- Jeffrey Mester: 890
- Joshua Shapiro: 534
- Jane Kimmel Shepardson: 1923
- Deborah Smith: 1140
- Victoria Bayard Tipp: 1743
