The Great Chappaqua Bake Sale will be selling goodies and raising money to combat childhood hunger.
About 5,000 people are expected to the two events, said New Castle Town Supervisor Rob Greenstein.
So he has called for an impromptu sidewalk sale to showcase some of the many independently owned shops, salons and food service establishments in downtown Chappaqua. “We wanted our merchants to be able to take advantage of the incredible foot traffic generated by the book festival. It will be a great day in Chappaqua!”
This town wide event will have many participating with storewide specials and fabulous finds! Sale hours are 10am-5pm.
And, he reminds us, the Chappaqua Farmer’s Market will be open at the Chappaqua train station from 8:30am-1pm.
