School's Out Soon: What to Get the Teacher?
Chappaqua merchants have gifts for the end of school year.
Another school year is drawing to a close, and in just a few weeks will give way to a summer with camps and vacation. But before the kids take their hiatus, perhaps you're thinking about what to get their teachers?
You don't have to go far for examples, just to Chappaqua's lower King Street.
"I always recommend items that teachers will use throughout the year, for instance we have these adorable satchels that house all different shapes of post it notes with adorable graphics on them," explained Cindy Lupica, who owns . "They’re a great price point and something that a teacher can really use."

Lupica noted that people like things that are useful, citing her Tea Forte items or a knitted cozy that fits onto a ceramic mug.
This year, Lupica has decided to try something unique. Marmalde is teaming up with its retail neighbor, to offer a package. If you buy teachers' gifts at either store between now and June 15, your name gets entered into a drawing. The prize will be a 1-hour massage for you and the teacher. The stores will announce the results on their Facebook pages.
