September 11th Remembrance Ceremony

There are events Sept. 11 in Mount Kisco and Chappaqua.

The Mount Kisco Fire Department hosts the village’s annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony.

All firefighters will march from Green Street Firehouse at 6 p.m. to the Memorial at Village Hall. The service starts at 6:15 p.m. This year, patriotic music will be played by Mark Rivera, Billy Joel’s saxophone player.

All community members and emergency service personnel are invited to the Mutual Engine and Hose firehouse afterward for food and refreshments.

Chappaqua’s ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. at the New Castle 09/11 Memorial, Gedney Park, 149 Millwood Road, Chappaqua, NY.

Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
Westchester EMS
